Odd Society is releasing its second whisky in honour of Robbie Burns. Scotland’s national poet is known the world over for his work which centered on universal themes such as love and nature.
This release was aged for five years in once-used, American white oak, ex-rye barrels. It is a deliciously light, easy-sipping dram that is bright, smoky, and peaty with caramelized honey and straw on the nose. The palate has rich honey notes, chewy nut brittle, and a slightly spicy, mineral briny salinity. The whisky ends with a clean woodfire smoke finish. A beautiful tribute to an enduring master of words..
