Sedulous was produced using techniques traditionally practiced in the Côte-Rôtie region of France. It is 90% Syrah and 10% Viognier. A complex wine with pronounced aromas, robust volume, and smooth concentrated flavour. Notes of violet and leather on the nose followed by cherry, cocoa and coffee. The palate is dry and balanced with spice, cherry and meatiness.
Vineyard
The Syrah came from Oliver and the Viognier from Osoyoos and Keremeos.
Ageing
This year, because of the hot weather, we aged the wine for 10 months (30% new French oak) and in bottle for one month before release.
