Ardour was produced using techniques traditionally used in Bordeaux and the Southwest region of Cahors. Dry, concentrated and full bodied but still fresh and well balanced. On the nose there are aromas of violet, spice and leather followed by dark cherry, blackberry and coffee. On the palate you will find blackberry, cocoa, spice and black currant.
Vineyard
Most of the grape varietals came from vineyards in Oliver and the rest from Keremeos.
Ageing
This year we aged the wine for 14 months in barrel and two months in bottle before release.
