Allégresse was produced by using techniques practiced in the Burgundy region of France. Containing mostly Chardonnay, this wine has pronounced aromas of white flower, apple and acacia honey. The palate is met with beautiful volume, toast and grapefruit. The long finish of minerality is complimented by lemon and vanilla.
Vineyard
This year, because of the young age of our vineyard, only 50% came from our vineyard (no herbicide and only organic spray products). The other part came from different vineyards in Oliver and Kelowna.
Ageing
This year, because of the vintage, Allégresse was aged for 10 months in barrel (30% new French oak) and for 2 months in bottle before release.
