Marichel Vineyard is planted in sandy and silty loams of low natural vigour on the Naramata Bench in the Okanagan Valley. From drip irrigation that delivers precise amounts of water, to a small, low emission tractor to reduce soil compaction, to no-till cover-cropping that reduces carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere, low impact, sustainable farming is always their goal.
